THREE UNDERRATED ACTION MOVIES THAT ARE WELL...................UNDERRATED

Action films are a gift to the world because they give audiences a thrill that can really only be experienced on camera. Watching a good action movie is like eating brownies on top of more brownies; You really can't get enough of it. There are three action movies that I feel are highly underrated and underappreciated. These movies have scenes action sequences that are intense and dangerous.

 Mission Impossible 3:

Story:

Mission Impossible 3 stars Tom Cruise. The movie is spy flick that is filled with some mystery, action, suspense, crazy action, and action. The story revolves around Cruise's character, Ethan Hunt. Ethan works for a secret government agency called the IMF a.k.a. Impossible Mission Force. Like their name suggests, the IMF loves to do impossible things. The action here is well-constructed. The director, J.J. Abrams, does a great job at building tension within the movie. He utilizes a great score that is mixed with big set pieces. The music makes the scene flow and also makes the action feel very enthralling. The action that is  Mission Impossible 3 a very good action movie, but I must admit its ending is weak. If you want to really enjoy it watch the first 85 percent of it.

Best action sequence:

In the middle of the movie there is a great ambush sequence that is AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I don't want to spoil it for you, but let's just say that a drone armed with missiles is involved.

Transformers:

Story:

Transformers is a movie about huge alien robots—the Autobots and the Decepticons—fighting. Humans work with the Autobots to take on the evil Decepticons in an epic battle that will make you want to eat McDonald's pancakes.  These aren't just any alien robots, these are robots that are armed with missiles, machine guns, and other over-the-top alien technology. Transformers is directed by Michael Bay who is known for his huge explosions and dangerous stunts. As a director, he has really fallen off, but in this movie he still has “it.” The action scenes in Transformers are visceral. Bay puts the actors in danger to create a great looking shot.  He has Shia  hanging from the side of a building with nothing , but two wire cables to hold him up. The stunt work in this movie ranges from ripping a bus in half to flipping cars on the city streets. For example, there is a scene where a skating Decepticon rams into a bus traveling on the highway which causes it to explode and rip apart.  There is never a dull moment in this film. Actors like Shia Labeouf and mi amor Megan Fox are in this film, and Megan looks quite foxy (extreme pun intended). The humans and the Autobots work together to take on the evil Decepticons in an epic battle that will make your adrenaline rush.

Best action sequence:

The end battle for Transformers is epic in every way. The Autobots and Decepticons are fighting over an alien artifact that can bring inanimate objects to life. Cars are blown up, jets are shot out of the air, and robots are letting loose on each other with missiles and machine guns. Megatron, the main villain, is damn near unbeatable in this fight. He rips one of the Autobots in half—RIPS ONE OF THE AUTOBOTS IN HALF. When you watch this battle you can't help but feel like jumping out of your seat.   Nobody is safe in this battle.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra:

 Story:
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra has nonstop action. Out of the three movies listed here, this is the movie that puts the word in action in action. G.I. Joe involves two groups of military-like soldiers that are at odds with each other. The Joes are the good guys who defend the world while Cobra is made up of terrorists that want to control the world. The movie's cast and story are highly questionable. I enjoy the movie, but, my lord, why are Marlon Wayans and Channing Tatum the leads in this film? Some of the acting is atrocious, but the action is insane. If you watch this movie please watch it just for the action because the acting will make you question life.

Best Action Sequences:

There are three really intense action scenes in this movie that stand out. The first one takes place in the beginning in the movie. It involves Cobra ambushing a military transport. Cobra pretty much massacres the convoy of soldiers so that they can retrieve warheads that have extremely destructive power. This scene has a jet-like helicopter shooting missiles right out of the air. Its freaking awesome.

The second scene involves the Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayan’s character fighting in a foreign country. The reason why this scene is so awesome is because they have a stuntman run up to a building, and then they blow up the building. It's a jarring scene because the stuntman is extremely close to the fire ball created by the explosion.

The third and final action scene that was absolutely awesome is the Paris chase sequence. The Joes are chasing an armored hummer that is outfitted with nefarious gadgets. The Joes have super suits that give them a fighting chance against cobra. The suits are equipped with rockets, machine guns and they allow the wearer to run very fast. This scene has cars flipping and flying high left and right. People are dodging missiles. There's a scene where the Joe's are dodging missiles with their suits. There is also a scene where you see a hummer get launched in the air and then slam into the ground and explode. The word intense doesn't even do the movie justice.

All three of these films are worthy of viewing at least a few times. If you reallyyyyyyyyyyyyy like action you won't be disappointed. If you are disappointed  try to eat some nutella to make you happy.
